Caves

Caves spawn in every biome, except the gray one. They are room-like spaces, typically 2x3.

Green Biome

Seed Cave - 2x3

The seed cave(also known as the mineral tree), is a cave that contains a seed. This seed can grow resources once planted, depending on which and how many resource blocks are within a certain radius when it roots. When planted where there are no resource blocks, it only grows iron.

Squidley - 1x1

Squidley hides in a cave and once brought 1 water, the cave opens and Squidley comes out. Squidley can carry one resource at a time to the dome and will seek out loose resources left in the cave.

Yellow Biome

One-way Teleporter - 2x3

The one-way teleporter(also known as the eye-teleporter) is a cave that unlocks the one-way teleporter for the duration of the run. You can place the teleporter and teleport back to it. Has a cooldown.

X-ray Cave - 2x4

The x-ray cave requires 2 iron to unlock and grants the player vision up to 2 layers deep. The buff lasts for the rest of the run.

Red Biome

Helmet Extension Cave

The helmet extension cave is a buff that lasts for the rest of the run and increases the players' vision in the mine from 4px to 3px.

Mushroom Cave

The mushroom cave is a reusable buff that grants the player a speed buff.

Blue Biome

Cobalt Cave

The cobalt cave contains 2 cobalt and does not restock.

Cross Bomb

The cross bomb cave is a one-time use bomb that once dropped, explodes in a cross shape of 15 tiles (not counting tile it was initially on).

Drillbert Mode Cave

This cave has a larger Drillbert in it. When fed a treat after getting Drillbert as a gadget, it will produce 2 more Drillberts and unlocks the secret Drillbert Mode, which allows you to have infinite Drillberts and comes with the Drillbert and bomb gadgets already unlocked.
